My name is John and I am learning to use polite words. Words that are polite include “Please,” “Thank you,” and “Excuse me.”

“Excuse me” is what I say when I would like the attention of another person. I can use my words to say, “Excuse me” when I want to talk to another person. When I use “Excuse me” I wait for the other person to look at me, move, or speak to me. Sometimes people are busy and I may have to wait my turn.
